Each mug comes from the manufacturer with a distressed finish. The distress marks are permanent, land in different places, and vary from mug to mug, so no two are exactly alike. The artwork is original digital watercolor, not flat solid-color graphics, and every design is hand printed one at a time, most on both sides. Slight variations in print placement, color, and distressing are expected and are not defects. When ordering multiples of the same design, each mug will look a little different from the others, which is part of what makes them handmade rather than mass produced.
